EUROPE: Europa League21:05h Genk - SassuoloGenk is having far away from a perfect start in the new season, since the team counts now four defeats in last five official matches, only victory being in a Cup game against Aalst. Having that in mind, but also that they lost the first game of Europa League group stage away to Rapid Vienna, they would probably be content with a draw here in order to maintain any kind of positive energy in their locker room.In the most recent game, the team got completely outplayed away from home against Kortrijk last Sunday evening, as they really looked like a bottom league side team for the most of the time, being only able to reduce the deficit after four goals conceded with the first halftime. Team does create chances and isn’t passive in their matches, but the defensive lineup needs to work a lot and avoid silly mistakes. Thanks to better peformances early in August, the team still remains near the middle of the table with 3-1-4 record so far and ten points earned, which is four points below play-off positions. Home side coach Peter Maes continues to miss left full back Jere Uronen (8/0), midfielder Ruslan Malinovsky (0/0) and left winger Holly Tschimanga (1/0), both long term absentees. Some rotation is expected.Sassuolo, on the other side, is continuing with good performances in Serie A, as they come from a narrow 1:0 victory at home over Udinese last weekend. Only goal was scored back in 34th minute via Defrel, but the hosts indeed were slightly better than their opponents for the whole ninety minutes and completely deserved the victory. It coudl be said that their start in the season is positive, since the team has 3-0-3 record so far, actually earning four victories but their three pointer against Pescara was deducted since they had an un-registered player on the field in last moments of the match. Away from home it’s obvious that they tend to play a bit more defensive and waiting for counter attacks mostly, being usually quite cautious at the start of the game.Italians are having small injury crisis especially with their offensive part, since they can’t count at striker Domenico Berrardi (2/2 in Serie A, 4/5 in Europa League), but also offensive Simone Missiroli (1/0). Defensive midfielder Stefano Sensi (1/0) is out with muscle injury, while defender Marcello Gazzola (3/0) continues to be injured as well.Sassuolo is undefeated in last five Europa League matches.I rate Sassuolo as a better side here and it wouldn’t surprise me if they walk away with something here. However, I believe the hosts will be quite defensively oriented here and the visitors surely as all Italian sides know how to play away from home with a bit more cautious approach. Under is my choice! Tip :Under 2.5 ( Goals ) / Odds : 1.85Ht : ?:? / Ft: ?:?
EUROPE: Champions League20:45h Napoli - BenficaNapoli will host Benfica in the match of the second round of Champions league group B.Napoli is huge favorite here. They started this completion much better beating Dinamo in Kyiv 2-1, while Benfica played only 1-1 at home against Besiktas. Napoli playing very well lately, they come after 2-0 win against Chievo, while at home ground they have 12 wins in a row and they suffered their last defeat at home in may 2015. So I think they could continue their series today.Benfica will have many troubles with missing players for this game as their coach Vitoria cannot count on Jonas, Raul Jimenez, Jardel, Samaris, Danilo Barbosa and Rafa Silva. They come after 2-0 win against Chaves in domestic league, but they really disappointed against Besiktas in the first round where they was too much passive after they took a lead and at the end conceded a goal in stoppage time. Anyway they will lose on creativity without Jonas, Gimenez, Samaris and Silva and their coach will be forced to change formation for this game. I think they will be more defensive here and draw will probably be a good result for them, but I doubt they will stop Napoli which looks great leaded by Milik upfront. So I expect home win here. Here is possible line ups:Napoli: Reina, Ghoulam, Koulibaly, Albiol, Hysaj, Jorginho, Allan, Hamšik, Mertens, Milik, CallejonBenfica: Cesar, Semedo, Lindelof, Lopez, Grimaldo, Fejsa, Salvio, Guedes, Horta, Pizzi, Mitroglou Tip :1 ( Home Win ) / Odds : 1.75Ht : 1:0 / Ft: 4:2
ENGLAND: Championship20:45h Huddersfield - RotherhamHuddersfield ended last campaign at 19th spot in Championship while now after nine rounds collected 19 points and stands at great second position which leads directly into Premier league for the next season, they were defeated in previous round by Reading away from home and now in 10 round awaiting Rotherham, victory is a must to recoup that negative result from last round and they are big favorites here. That last defeat was their second in this season, so far can be more than satisfied with results and here must go for a victory and try to get back on the track, in attack were decent while also did a good job in defense, at home field are without defeat so far and I'm sure that will manage to achieve another positive outcome here in front of their crowd. They showed great improving in comparison to a last campaign and at this moment seems that are able to fight for the promotion, long season is upon them and plenty of hard encounters but this shouldn't be one of them and i'm sure that will achieve victory against not so great guests. Rotherham meanwhile stands at 23rd spot in relegation zone with only six points collected so far, they are in terrible shape and in this season achieved only one victory, it was at home ground against Brentford with narrow result, now are coming to this game after three defeats and two draws and it seems almost impossible to avoid another defeat in this match against more than decent home side.Guests ended only one position above relegation zone in last season and now must show much more than so far in this season to reach safe zone and avoid relegation, in last meeting against hosts in April divided points and it would be positive result for them but I simple don't believe that will manage to confront to them here and earn some points. Their defense was really terrible, with 22 goals conceded have worst defense in league and must improve that part of their team to achieve some good results in this season, however here I simple don't see how can earn points.Hosts are coming to this game after being defeated in previous round and here must recoup that defeat, they are much stronger side than guests and shouldn't have a bigger problems to collect all three points especially since guests are really out of the track, I'm sure that hosts will achieve routine victory in this game.Tip :1 ( Home Win ) / Odds : 1.70Ht : 2:1 / Ft: 2:1
ITALY: Serie A15:00h Lazio - EmpoliDespite 30 minutes of good football played in the first half, Lazio were beaten by Milan on tuesday evening and now Aquile are looking to get back on right way when they host third form the bottom Empoli.Coach Inzaghi should change again his starting eleven due to some injury problems that affected recently the team especially at the back, in goal 21 years old Strakosha will continue due to a calf problem of the first gk Marchetti, also out regular defs Basta&Batos (calf and sciatic nerve respectively), therefore hosts will have to play with a reshuffled defensive line; the good news could be the return of mid captain Biglia, very very important player while in attack should be the right time to look an offensive and fast trio with Keita and Anderson on the wings and Ciro Immobile as first striker.Guests also were beaten in the midweek round with the same result by Inter, they were already down after 6' and definitively collapsed in 17', their form has been bad from the start of season with the only victory arrived against bottom Crotone and I think that another defeat could cost the bench to new coach Martusciello; about team news also Empoli will have to play without two regular defs Laurini&Costa both out through injury, for the rest all players appear ready to play. Both teams looking to improve their position, Lazio are strongly favored and I expect them to score at least a couple against a weak opponent but with defensive problems on either sides, the better choice should be to bet on goal.Tip :Over 2.5 ( Goals ) / Odds : 2.00Ht : 1:0 / Ft: 2:0
GERMANY: Bundesligaa15:30h Mainz - Bayer LeverkusenIn this game, I see a lot of goals. Remember all of the 4-4 against Hoffenheim. Mainz at home always very good, offensively they have a lot of players can score the goals (de Blasis, Cordoba, Malli as an example). Defensively they are in my opinion not optimal reception. Bussmann is a weak point for me. 4.5 Previously Goals section in Mainz games.Leverkusen has offensive potential madness. As you saw in the first 30 minutes against Moscow. So far they are below expectations. The Node has slowly bursting. If Leverkusen times really shows what they can, we see many goals.Tip :Over 2.5 ( Goals ) / Odds : 1.75Ht : 2:1 / Ft: 2:3
ENGLAND: Championship20:45h Preston - WiganPreston welcome Wigan in an interesting moment for them - they played overtime in the midweek in the EFL Cup, but with happy ending, eliminating Premier League side Bournemouth in their own stadium. It was really big surprise, knowing that Preston struggles in the Championship, having only 2 wins and 6 defeats from 8 matches. It's interesting that they will have motivation, good atmosphere in the team after the big success, but will urely feel fatigue. How will they deal with it?Wigan are even worse placed than Preston with only one win, 2 draws and 5 defeats, but they showed more. I believe that they're improving and won't have so bad season. They will try to use the fatigue of their opponents, but they won't play to win at every cost. A draw won't be bad at all.I expect that draw to happen here! The season is long and in this moment I feel that both teams are firstly looking to avoid new defeat. I really can't see which team has the advantage here, so I expect a draw.

ITALY: Serie A20:45h Atalanta - PalermoAtalanta is coming off a bad loss against Cagliari away and overall have collected only 3 points in 4 matches (1-0-3) scoring 6 goals and conceding 10. Atalanta have 100% Over so far. Carmona is out and Pinilla should start while Paloschi should sit on the bench after a series of bad performance. Palermo is very weak, have collected only 2 points in 4 matches (0-2-2) scoring only 2 goals and conceding 6. Morganella, Trajkovski, Quaison, Giuliano, Rajkovic and Bentivegna are out. Both Gasperini and De Zerbi should use 4-3-3 system and like attacking football, Atalanta is obviously favourite to win the match but I see more value in the Over as I believe both teams will be opened to win this match. Palermo have Juve at home in 3 days and I don’t think they will get any points.

ITALY: Serie B20:30h Novara - LatinaNovara have collected 4 points in 4 matches (1-1-2), losing 2 matches away where Boscaglia have problems. This match is important also because they will have 2 away matches against Spezia, usually strong at home, and Benevento, currently in good shape. All players are available for this match and I doubt coach Boscaglia will apply turnover considering the bad loss against Cittadella.Latina have several players out: Bandinelli, Barry, Nelson, Nica, Varga, Gilberto, Garcia Tena. Coach Vivarini confirmed that Boakye, Acosty and Corvia are also not in good shape. Latina have serious problems in scoring goals, only 3 behind only Avellino and Pisa while they conceded a lot, 7 behind only Vicenza and Pro-Vercelli. I think Novara is stronger.

ENGLAND: Premier League18:30h Everton - MiddlesbroughClermont – LensAfter a bad start of the season, Clermont recovered well having 3 consecutive wins. Despite losing a lot of quality players from previous season, especially in attack compartment, Clemont is still playing good football, a proof of the fact that Corinne Diacre knows what she is doing. Last game was ended with the nicest result of the season so far, wining in style away at leader Brest. Playing smart, they defended well had scoring twice on counter, after a nice game with plenty of goal chances by both sides. But Brest players missed too easy at least couple of their good chances, ruining my beautiful bet.Lens is continuing to disappoint their fans. Playing at home in front of 26000 fans against rock bottom Bourg Peronnas, they weren’t able to take their first win at home, finishing 1-1. Was another poor display, for most of the period, from Lens players. A boring first half without any shot on goal and a bit animated 2nd one with a Fabri (GK Bourg Peronnas) again in good shape. Lens didn’t beat Fabri but one of his follow did scoring an owngoal and Lens seemed to be on a good track. But few minutes later Bourg leveled due to a free kick. Over all Bourg had the biggest opportunities to score, even they hit post once. I wonder till when the fans will have enough patience with this team?Lens seems to become a draw specialist in this season: already 5 in 8 games played so far. On the road they proved to play better without having that pressure of 25000 fans. Clermont with 4 consecutive wins will try to collect the 5th. But over confidence can play a role in this game and they can lose their focus. Back all -square. gl
